Florence Tingle

January 1st, 1956, I answered God's call and went to Bible college to begin preparation for life as a missionary. After graduation in 1960, I worked in the CM Church Mission in Dallas with Mexicans and Navajo Indians. In 1969, I attended language school in Guadalajara, Mexico. Following language school I served about ten years in Mexico with World Gospel Mission and with the Evangelical Methodist. In 1980, I was transferred to New Mexico to work with Navajo Indians. In 1983, I was transferred to Brownsville to work with our churches in Mexico. In 1993 I was transferred back to New Mexico then in 2001, I was transferred to Eagle Pass, Texas. In 2005, I was transferred to serve with World Radio Network in Pharr, Texas, and have been with them since. A few of my duties over the years have consisted of leading Bible studies, Sunday schools, training S.S. teachers, camps, VBS's, preaching, counseling, bookkeeping, choir director, teacher and anything else that was needed.
